Zach Ferguson

I am a philosophy PhD candidate at UNC. Before moving to Chapel Hill, I earned an M.A. in philosophy from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee and a B.A. from Vanderbilt University, where I studied philosophy, Spanish, and Portuguese. I have broad interests in ethics and normative philosophy generally. My dissertation is on animal ethics, and my work has been published in journals such as Analysis, Politics, Philosophy & Economics, and American Journal of Bioethics Empirical. When I am not doing philosophy, I enjoy making music, reading fiction, and learning languages.
